I have a vocal injury is your work accessible to me?

As a Holistic Vocal Practitioner, my work touches on Psychological, Physiological, Emotional, Social and Spiritual elements of Voicework. My approach is multidisciplinary, drawing on methods of from a wide range of disciplines. I am not a medically trained Voice or Speech Pathologist, therefore if you have specific injuries or medical issues that relate to your voice, I recommend that you first seek the advice of a qualified ENT Specialist to see if this work will be appropriate for you. If you are seeking support with vocal rehabilitation I will be happy to negotiate and discuss an action plan either directly through or in conjunction with the recommendations of your Clinical Therapist or Doctor. Please reach out if you have any questions, I do not wish this work to be closed off to anyone to whom it may benefit.

Is your work accessible to vulnerable individuals and those with Additional Support Needs or Physical/Learning Disabilities?

Opportunities to work with me directly are always negotiated in relation to the needs of the client and the space available. Every effort is taken to ensure One to One Tuition, Vocal Retreats and Community Music Workshops are fully accessible. If you have specific needs which require a space to be adapted, then please contact me and this can be arranged.
Although much of the foundation of Voicework concerns physicality and the body, there are many tools, aids and visualisation processes within the Holistic Framework that can support those who may have barriers in their flexibility or movement.
For those of you who may have a support worker, they will of course be welcome to be present with you as your aid during any contact time..
Full discretion is always respected, and no personal or sensitive information in regards to your support requirements will ever be disclosed to any other course/workshop participants without your consent.
